At Rotsen we are committed to using skins from animals raised in Galicia and free-range, which are left over from meat consumption.

For Montserrat 1958 we used:

·Galician blonde cow: The leather comes from cows that live in freedom, and is made from leftovers from the meat industry.

Our tannery with more than 170 uninterrupted years of experience and family history, is the oldest in Galicia (they started
(in 1850). They perform 100% natural tanning, using tannin as a natural tanning agent, a substance found in plant matter. They use natural dyes in a water bath with a low pH. Unlike other dyes, this one penetrates all layers of the skin, providing a long-lasting color.

·Luxurious black Italian Napa lining.

·Combination clasp, 24k gold plated supports and feet.

These accessories are handmade in Galicia with needle and closed thread, representing our commitment to quality and craftsmanship.
