At Rotsen we bet on skins from animals raised in Galicia and freedom, remaining from meat consumption.
Shell Cordovan. This skin is the most luxurious after the exotic ones. They come exclusively from the horse's two haunches or rump. Normally our pieces are dyed in a two-tone tone naturally by our tanner.
Galician blonde cow. This leather comes from Galician blonde cows and calves, which provides the best quality of skin and thickness.
Our tannery with more than 170 uninterrupted years of experience and family history is the oldest in Galicia (they started in 1850).
They carry out 100% natural tanning using tanite as a natural tanning agent, a substance found in vegetable plants. They use natural dyes in a water bath with low pH. Unlike other dyes, this one penetrates all the layers of the skin, providing a long-lasting color, providing a light, natural, compact and docile color, as well as clean and bright colorants.
We carefully select our raw materials: we use full-grain leather and split cowhide.
